Finding the right college is not a hard process. It’s actually quite simple if you know how and where to look. Not all colleges are the same. Neither are all support programs the same. Certainly not all students are the same. What is most important in the college search is finding a college that is the right fit for you.

At COLLEGE POSSIBILITIES we provide comprehensive college planning for students with learning differences. We approach the college search and application process by emphasizing students’ self-advocacy and independence. We draw on our extensive knowledge of colleges and their available support services to find the right academic and social fit for each student.

We meet with students and families individually (usually in the office but at your home when necessary) throughout the college search and application process. Following a series of in-depth discussions with the student and parent(s), we will generate a prospective list of colleges that match the student’s academic, social, physical and emotional needs, goals, talents, and interests. Together, we will refine this list to determine the colleges or other programs to which the student should apply.

Counseling students with learning differences from Pennsylvania and out-of state is our specialty. Our students are high school age, college transfer students, students who are re-entering college, or students seeking post-secondary options.
